Thanks to a dear friend of myLIFEspeaks, Dr. Paulo Pinho, LIFE Clinic now has a new ultrasound for diagnostic use!!
His generous donation of a new ultra-portable Ultrasound (Butterfly IQ+) allows in-house sonograms for our ob/gyn patients and for diagnostic purposes for other internal injuries and illnesses. The ultrasound is portable and connects to an ipad or iphone.
In addition, LIFE Clinic medical staff has access to a library of educational videos and instructions on using the Ultrasound for a wide array of applications that they previously did not have.
Dr. Paulo first came to myLIFEspeaks in 2017 and ever since has been a valuable asset to our public health program as a consultant and in his assistance in procuring equipment and hard-to-find medications.
