Dr. Peter Mesilien: The First Doctor From Neply
If you've ever felt like your dreams are "too big", then this story is for you. Peter's story is one of perseverance, determination, and faith that never fails to inspire us. Peter had a dream to become a doctor but for someone from a small, poor village in rural Haiti, the odds of that happening were pretty much zero.
When myLIFEspeaks found out about Peter’s dream and heard his seriousness about it, generous donors financially supported Peter so that this dream could become a reality.
The obstacles and odds overcome by this young man - including but not limited to risking his life to serve in gang-controlled areas, at times with gang members holding a gun to his head - and his dedication to service will leave you inspired and in awe. 🧡
