LIFE Academy teachers are staying after school hours to learn sign language to be able to better communicate with our nonverbal students!
Jean Marc, LIFE Academy’s head sign language teacher, presented the idea and offered to teach all 36 teachers/assistants sign language after school two days a week.
The goal is that instead of only the sign language teachers being able to communicate easily with our nonverbal students, all the teachers of every grade and class will be able to do so.
