Have you ever been moved by a cause, yet felt your potential contribution was too small to make a difference?
You're not alone. Trust us—we get it. The world is inundated with crisis and critical needs, and it's easy to feel overwhelmed. It's not that you don't care, but sometimes the sheer scale of the problem can feel discouraging. You might be tempted to look away, thinking your individual efforts can't possibly make a dent in the vast darkness. It’s better to not do anything if you think you can’t do enough—right? Wrong.
Last week, a donor felt compelled to give to our Spring Campaign. Their contribution? $15. They wondered if it was enough. But their $15 is actually making more of an impact than they imagined.

While the heart behind this donation is invaluable, its tangible impact is also significant. In Haiti, $15 can provide:
At least 10 meals. It costs approximately $1.40 to feed one person in our community.
3/5 of a full year's membership in our elderly program.
15% of the cost to sponsor a child with disabilities for Night to Shine.
You see, $15 isn't just a number. It's 10 plates of food, a year of smiles for an elderly person, or that special dress for the disabled girl feeling beautiful and celebrated while she walks down the red carpet at Night to Shine. It's a single candle, whose light joins others, growing stronger, pushing back the darkness.

That's why we say your part matters. Your support matters. Your heart matters. No amount is too small. Imagine each of us holding a single candle. Individually, the flame might seem small, but as we gather, our lights combine, creating a powerful radiance that illuminates even the darkest corners of Haiti.
Yes, larger gifts are essential and deeply appreciated. We are incredibly grateful for those who invest generously in our work in Haiti. But we don't want anyone to withhold their support, thinking their gift is insignificant. Every light you bring to the darkness strengthens the collective glow and changes lives.
Here’s a clearer picture of the difference your donation makes. Remember, real lives are impacted by your generosity.

Are you ready to shine your light in Haiti today? Donate to our Spring Campaign to help us reach our $75,000 goal by May 31st. Then look back and relish in the joy of knowing that you saw a serious need and you acted; you did something to help. You are a part of the solution.

I keep a tab open with Crazyig for when I need a break during work. They have a decent collection of browser games that run smoothly without any lag. The racing and shooting categories are where I usually end up spending most of my time.
