13 Years of myLIFEspeaks
As we celebrate our 13th anniversary, we are raising money to invest in the future of our community garden, Happy Grove. Food insecurity is high in Haiti right now, but Happy Grove is a way for us to provide for the villagers in our area. Happy Grove is a vital project that feeds families, provides jobs, and reflects God’s love in tangible ways.

The Story of Happy Grove
Happy Grove Garden began as a training garden for at-risk teens to teach them how to grow their own food. Over time, it has blossomed into a harvest garden producing multiple crops each year on 2.5 acres in Neply, Haiti. The fresh vegetables—bell peppers, carrots, cucumbers, onions, okra, and more—are used to feed children and elderly adults in need throughout the community.
The garden not only provides nourishment but also supports local livelihoods by employing a head agronomist and additional workers. Each harvest blesses hundreds of families, yet the demand far outweighs the supply. Limited space and resources mean we must wait between harvests to provide food assistance again.
We want to expand the garden’s impact by increasing its harvestable land, providing more food for our school and community, and creating greater sustainability. Our goal of $5,000 will cover an entire year of operations, including salaries, seeds, and the potential to expand to new land.
