myLIFEspeaks 2012 TEAMS:
Why: To give a week of your time to SPEAK UP for those who can’t SPEAK for themselves and to be about something BIGGER!
Who: Any individual or group (Max of 15 people per team at this time) who has the desire to IMPACT others in Haiti. Individuals must be at least 15 years of age to travel without a parent or legal guardian.
What: One week trip to have a HANDS ON experience to SPEAK UP for those who can’t SPEAK for themselves. You will be working at the myLIFEspeaks campus, helping make updates to the house (i.e. painting, cleaning, building projects, etc.), working in the community center, building relationships with people in the community, working with the feeding program, playing with children, planning activities, and teaching the orphans of myLIFEspeaks.
When: One trip per month beginning January 2012
Where: The myLIFEspeaks Campus in Neply, Leogane, Haiti (about 25 miles for PAP Airport)
Cost: $500 per person plus *airfare. ($100 non-fundable/non-transferable deposit due to register for a trip; then your $400 balance is due 30 days prior to departure)
This fee covers the following: food, lodging, trip insurance and transportation during the week in Haiti.
*EACH TEAM MEMBER is responsible their round-trip airfare from their hometown to Haiti and back. myLIFEspeaks REQUIRES all flights be booked through Sarita @ Stow Travel (800.610.7846). We require ALL TEAM MEMBERS MUST be on the same flight when traveling in/out of Haiti for safety and travel reason; therefore we require everyone to utilize Stow Travel Center. PLEASE UNDERSTAND WE HAVE SPECIFIC REASONS FOR REQUESTING HOW YOU BOOK YOUR TRAVEL AND WANT YOU TO HAVE THE SAFEST AND MOST PLEASURABLE TRIP POSSIBLE.

- Pick a month you would like to take a team. Call the myLIFEspeaks office for availability 615.538.7451. Spaces fill up quickly so please call to book your team TODAY!
DOWNLOAD TRIP INFORMATION PACKET HERE
- Once you have confirmed your trip dates through the myLIFEspeaks office, call Sarita @ Stow Travel (800.610.7846) to make your flight arrangements, complete a myLIFEspeaks Team application/waiver and return it to our U.S. office along with a $100 deposit per person. This can be mailed to the myLIFEspeaks office in the US at PO Box 683042 – Franklin, TN 37068 or scanned and emailed to trips@myLIFEspeaks.com

- Once the myLIFEspeaks office receives your application/waiver and deposit, you will need to DOWNLOAD the READY FOR DEPARTURE PACKET (click the link below) which will provide additional trip planning information. You will receive a Team T-shirt to wear during your travel into Haiti along with luggage tags at least 2 weeks prior to your departure date.
