On Monday, January 9, 2012, myLIFEspeaks had blessed to be featured as a segment on NBC’s news program: ROCK CENTER with Brian Williams. After almost 2 years, Mike and Ron Allen (the reporter who gave Mike a ride to the American Embassy in 2010) were reunited in Haiti. They shared time together and then Missy was able to join Ron in Haiti. We hope you’ll watch this story and share it with your family and friends. That’s one way you can help us SPEAK UP!

our FRIEND Hillary is AWESOME…

We are so proud to call Hillary Scott from Lady Antebellum our friend…actually she’s more FAMILY than friend. She is not only REAL but she’s also caring and has a desire to see orphans experience LIFE to the fullest!

I’m working with myLIFEspeaks to break ground on an orphanage. It’s going to be a place where children with special needs can have a home with everything they’ll need, from handicap accessibility to a house parent and chores to give them a sense of responsibility. My hope is it will foster a sense of family for these kids. Haiti has changed me forever. It reminds me not to be so self-involved. –Hillary Scott (Redbook Magazine, December 2011)
