Brent Gambrell Ministries first went to Haiti in the summer of 2003 with New Missions.  Brent travelled with a friend, Tim DeTellis to visit Haiti, a country in the Caribbean only 700 miles south of Miami.

What was experienced that week completely changed the entire ministry.  Almost immediately Brent’s heart began to break for the people of Haiti.  Seeing the poverty first-hand didn’t compare to the stories he had heard.  Brent borrowed the mission’s phone and called back to the office and simply said, “This changes everything.”  Truer words could not have been spoken.  Brent was willing to do whatever it took to help the Haitian people experience the freedom Christ offers and he challenged his staff to help him change this one small portion of the world while continuing to focus on those at home.  A new venture was underway. 

In 2003, Brent Gambrell Ministries formed a partnership with New Missions – the ministry that has been feeding, clothing and educating the Haitian families of the Leogane Plain since 1982.  Being a part of New Missions and what they’re doing has been a great opportunity for Brent Gambrell Ministries. 

In October 2003, Mike Wilson joined Brent in Haiti and immediately the two of them knew their lives would be spent helping the people of Haiti.  Now, Brent Gambrell Ministries leads up to eight trips per year to Haiti, bringing teams, medical supplies, food, clothing, and most importantly the Gospel, to thousands in need.

In July 2009, Mike and Missy went to the New Life Link Orphanage for the first time, where they were introduced to their future daughters...Tia and Naika.  Immediately they knew Brent Gambrell Ministries needed to be a part of such a great organization.  Mike and Missy decided to open their hearts to the entire New Life Link organization as a way to help those in Haiti. 

Brent Gambrell Ministries is dedicated to helping change the lives of the people in Haiti to the best of our abilities.
